I have been having some issues with my Wildview2 - Two times the camera has deleted my photos from the memory card when in transit from the woods to the computer. The screen will show photos taken and prior to leaving the cam in the woods I always wait for it to take a pic of me. When I get home and plug it into the computer the unit deletes the photos B4 it uploads to the PC. Anyone else have this problem?
If looking for a cheap camera Stay away from Wildview nothing but problems and batteries hogs. A set of 4 Cs only lasts for a week!!!

I will by buying some better quality cams.
The nice thing was 2 cams for $100 felt I could not pass it up. The land I hunt is primarily public and the privet land may as well be. In the last 2 years 4 cams stolen in the 2 of them in the middle of summer! The one I had purchased a lock for and they cut the tree down! So to put $200 - $400 into a cam I just cant do it. What kind of $$ for a start up Homebrew?

I bought one of those wildview digital things a year or so back on clearance for about 30 bucks as I recall...but did it knowing it was junk. Go figure. between the anemic flash and the trip time measured in minutes I figure I paid twice what it's worth... b u t . . . .. I don't much mind locking it up in harms way. let some moron steal it- he can pay for all those batteries
![]() I still got one 35mm homebrew left that puts the WV p.o.s. to shame, hands down (you guys remember the canon "owl" / RS doorbell combo?). sweet. I still got like 5 of those owls and an RS or two on the shelf... should make another couple up.

No they were cartoon character tackle boxes they used to sell at Kmart. They were just the right size to use as an enclosure for a camera. A little hot glue for texture and some camo paint and wallah, custom camo.
