I was 0 for 2 with my Traditions muzzleloader....
I am 3 for 3 with the T/C Omega. So I went with 60%, but it was the damn gun!!!! ![]() ![]()

When you posed the question, if you meant of all the shots fired that you hear, how many of them actually kill deer, then I think muzzleloaders skew the stats a bit. If weather has been foul, I think many hunters will fire their guns and reload in order to ensure that they have a good load in there.

I have tagged out muzzleloader weekend 5 years in a row three does a 200lb 9point and a 140lb. 4 point last year. I have missed 3 times during that stretch the 4 pt. let me reload and I hit him the second shot. I missed a big doe in 2005 and I had to shoot the 9 pt. three times. I hit him back the first shot then jumped him and shot him behind the shoulder then put a kill shot in him when I was blood trailing him he was still trying to get up when I got there. This weekend is coming hoping to make it six years in a row.
