Default So, I have a foot in the door towards a Quebec bear/moose camp

Long story short, depending upon a ton of variables, I got offered to work together with a Quebec outfitter. If he buys what he hopes to buy, he recognizes the size of the property is huge, and is willing to work out a deal on part of it. No details have been worked out yet, but looking for things to think about before jumping in. I hunted through him last season, so I know his area a little bit.

We saw very, very little sign of deer. Would be good for bear though I think. Hasn't been bear hunted in years; we did find an old bait site and stand. Stopped to make a phone call on the way in, take a leak, etc and while my back was turned, my friend saw one cross behind us a hundred yards away..
