    I'm waiting on my 49 Marlin 336 SC to arrive a the FFL so I can pick it up. It's in 30-30 caliber. I'll post up a photo when I have it in my hands. Can't wait.

    Congrats. I keep checking gunbroker now that I have this SC thinking I should grab another for no particular reason other than I love it.

    I have never had one let alone hold one until I picked one up at The Gun Shop in Vt. The only reason I wanted this one was because of the photo posted in this post. Way too cool looking to not have one. Can't wait to try it out.

    My rifle has an H serial # meaning it was made in 1951.

    1946-C
    1947-D
    1948-E
    1949-F
    1950-G
    1951-H
