Nice looking rifle. Is that a compass in the stock?

Grandfather put the compass on years before I got it , a lot of miles on that old gun.

I was thinking, you have had a real relationship with that rifle over many years. I have had numerous dealing with different rifles, I would like to settle down one day, if I could just choose one. lol

Very nice KC and Grey Ghost. I always liked the looks of the SC model, even at my advanced years I'd jump on a nice one in a heartbeat.

Could not tell you what model mine is, I see it is different than yours.
Looks Like a 336 RC with a texan stock.
