    Very nice rifle. Hope you do not hit a clear cut in Maine and see a monster buck at 300 yards...….what's the drop?

    3 inches high at 100, dead on 200, and 27 inches low at 300. Good point, but I accept the rifles limitations.

    Definitely like the wood better on the Henry's compared to others I've looked at. Think they get get bashed some for the tube loading design but that doesn't bother me a bit, actually like it better. What loads are you shooting out of your other 45-70 ?

    Just got the Henry 45/70 all weather this year. Set up with a skinner peep and brass front sight . Cool rifles

    The Henry’s are gorgeous...even my little golden boy! It sits above my head ready for action at any time be it woodchuck, squirrel or coyote!

    Yes I do. Dont know how I feel about it. Cant say I like or dislike. But it reminds me of my old 22's.

    That is a beautiful gun LB! I love Henry rifles. One of these days I'm going to get a Long Ranger in a .308.
