Using a cubby set near a stonewall I caught a fisher last night. Since I began using this location it has produced one to two fisher every season.

I checked my trap early this morning and found I caught a female fisher. The season limit is two so I pulled my trap. I’m hoping beaver marshes lock up soon so I can go after a few otter and a number of beaver.

I’ll be shipping these two fisher for tanning as wall hangers. For that reason I’m leaving the pelts fur in as they dry. Had I been sellythese they would be drying fur out.
