    Default Deer Sightings

I've been making the same 45 minute commute for work through Addison County for the past 7 years. I must say, I have seen more deer in the last two weeks than I ever have. Between the morning and afternoon I've probably seen 50 or more deer. I'm glad to see they are out there! I'm sure once the greens start coming in sightings will drop way off.

We saw 70 last weekend. I'm guessing there's approximately zero food in the woods right now.

I drove from NJ up to Burnt Hills NY and back last Sunday (RT 87 for 2.5 hrs each way). I saw over 100 deer on the way up and the same on the way back, a bunch of turkeys too. Some real large and healthy looking deer too. I know it is not VT but similar drive to Rt 91.

I’ve been seeing quite a few as well. They put down some winter rye in a couple cornfields around here. Deer hang right there most aftetnoons even bedding down in it.

Yes, a lot of daytime movement to see- feeding open fields. Have even seen a number around the house.
