    Thanks all!
    Picked up the meat today and filled the freezer...set aside the back straps for tonight?s supper.
    Just finished the most tender and flavorful tenderloins ever...saut?ed in the cast iron after mushrooms and then bacon were cooked.

    did you have it cut at Alberts? If so, did you have them do up some garlic and cheese sausage? That's the punishment for me not getting a deer!! My wife puts it in lasagna . Soooooo good!!!

    Yes I had it cut at Alberts but I didnt opt for any sausage this time...just all the usual steaks and chops and the rest hamburger.
