    Thanks guys!

Slept in this morning (6:30) to a cool house. Damn outdoor furnace didn’t stay burning with the very low quality wood I placed in it. I now know I need to mix a healthy dose of oak with the junk.

Registered the doe, then went to check traps.

    One beaver and a muskrat.

Two beavers and one muskrat on stretchers drying as I type. This week, or weekend, I have a marsh to set for a landowner who invited me in. It’s always nice to have property owners that want wildlife managed on their land.

On a humorous note, had a wheel barrow handle break this morning as I was moving wood for the furnace. I immediately recalled having stashed a used handle in my basement from a wheel barrow some one was throwing away. A little searching and I found it!

Some penetrating oil, elbow grease, and never seize had the handle swapped out this evening and the unit back in action. Damn thing is about 23 years old.

Just read through this, great job on the projects and filling the freezer. That plow came out really nice.
