WHOA! Bobcat Central
This story starts in the winter of 2008. I took this pic in an area where I was looking for deer sign. I always wanted to get back up in there and do some baiting or calling but never did until this year.
Last Thursday I spent 5 hours with my sled and snowshoes getting a roadkill deer up in there. Checked it twice and nothing had moved in that area other than a few deer on my sled tracks. Checked it today and I got what I call my best trail cam pics to date.
This big cat came in yesterday at 7:29 am.
She fed for 45 minutes and left but gave me some nice close up shots.
She was gone all day and came back with a kit at 4:13 that afternoon

Notice how she dug a hole to lower herself down in and scan the are while the little one feeds.
About an hour later 2 more cats show up.
Then later on I got all 4 cats in one pic.

I got over 300 pics of the cats. The mother would be watching one side of the bait for awhile then go around and watch the other way. very interesting watching the mother instinct thing.
