The bow looks pretty complex, might be hard to keep it in tune.

If it's anything like an Oneida it should come with it's own adjustment tool.....a 3lb deadblow hammer.

Well,
I have to put my 2 cents in here.
I really don't understand why you guys are bad mouthing Oneida, unless you have had first hand bad experiences with Them.
I have owned several Oneidas, liteforce magnum, Pro eagle, stealth eagle, and black eagles.None of them ever gave me a problem.
The only things i have found with them is: they are louder, but they are the smoothest most recoil free bow i have ever shot.

I have had two friends who swore by Oneida's but had nothing but problems with them. They dont swear by them anymore...... They swear at em! My Hoyt keeps my freezer full too!!!! http://www.huntingchat.net/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_cool.gif

Ultra.... I think a 12 lb sledge would even make them prettier..... Add in a sawzall and we have a done deal!!!! http://www.huntingchat.net/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_twisted.gif

Was just doing some research into Monster Bows, and they are definitely not a "new" company. They have been around for a while and all they basically do is take Oneida Stealth and Eagle bows and "soup them up." I'm not sure if they are currently manufacturing all of their own parts, but the majority of their work is rework on other manufacturers designs.

Arlow,
When you quote someone, make sure you put the whole quote in.
Also, i guess you don't have first hand experience, only second hand knowledge, from your friends.
But thats o.k. , everyone has a right to opinions.

You a bit touchy? You need some midol or something?

I quoted the part that applied to what I found to be the most annoying about Oneida's. The Crack of limbs coming together when the bow is shot.

My experiences are firsthand being shooting side by side at league and 3-d shoots with both of my friends who shot Oneidas and trying to help them retune them when those stupid limb cams went out of whack. So yes I have a right to my "opinion" and it is based on personal experience. Maybe you have had good luck with your Oneidas, and I am happy for you that youhave, but you are far from the norm around here. In my opinion they are overengineered, over complicated pieces of junk.

There is a reason they have been passed by other bow companies and have faded into oblivion.....

By the way these new Oneida's/Monsters are not camless. The cams are just in the wrong place........

Arlow,

Actually, i was a hardcore Hoyt man for alot of years, still love Hoyts,
but like alot of other bows out there!
Every year it gets harder and harder to pick which bow to shoot.
Iam a bow junkie, and admit it!
May all of us have a good hunting season, with our bow of choice! http://www.huntingchat.net/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif

speaking of bow of choice, i hope to be replacing my old bow after this hunting season. i will be 17 next week, and for the most part i believe that i am done growing, my draw has not changed since i got my bow 4-6 years ago. The bow i have now is my first bow a browning ragewhich max's out at 55, and i am lookin for a bow that will be prolly 60-70# draw weight. Sooo if you have any ideas, and i dont want to spend a ton of money; however, i do understand that it wont be cheap. so leave any ideas here

You planning on buying new or will you consider a used bow? You can many times buy a used top end bow for what you might have spent on a new middle of the road bow.
If you want to go new and keep the cost down I would lean torwards the reflex line which are basically Hoyt's entry level models.
